The Sayler Family Facing the SunI am at my favorite daughter's house (Kim's :), and she is helping me create my very own blog page. Since I've arrived in Colorado I've had very little sleep. My daughter has kept me up far too late each night! But what a good time we've had. Last night she had me preparing 17 dozen ears of corn for the freezer. We have also gone on an unsuccessful mushroom hunt, although we did have a good time cooking hot dogs over an open fire. Mike and Kim saw a black bear. Katie and Mike saw a fawn, and we all saw some big Mule deer bucks. My grandchildren have kept me very busy making a dragon cake, painting rocks, going for walks, and entertaining me with their singing and otherwise witty ways! (Kim is writing some this for me because I am brain dead - we're going to try to get to bed before midnight tonight!) Here are a few pictures of my trip so far.
